Seasons Come and Go

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven—(Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Ever feel like a season in your life never ends? According to Ecclesiastes, no matter how long a season (time) seems to be, it will end. This life is about ups and downs. We go through valleys and climb hills or mountains throughout our life's journey. No matter how good or bad a time in our life is, it will eventually come to an end. I recall a pastor saying once 'we are either in a trial, coming out of a trial or getting ready to enter a trial". I'm entering a trial of my own now. I realize more truth in this quote than ever before. We have very few times of calmness, but God provides the peace within during the turbulent times. God only wants the best for us, and we would have more peaceful times if it weren't for the fall of man and our living in a fallen world. A quote comes to mind. "Fear is the belief that the absolute worse will happen. Faith is the belief that the absolute best will happen". If you're going through a rough season in life, hold onto God and remember if you are His child, then you're covered by his grace. He loves us more than we can imagine and only wants the best for us. Sometimes what we may think is best for us isn't. Only God knows best, and whether it feels like it or not, the trial you're in will eventually end.
