Never Forget How Much God Loves You

Today's blog is inspired by a meme posted by A Meme A Day on Facebook. I pray that my blogs/devotionals are encouraging and inspirational to other Christians. I believe God has called me to minister more to other believers in Christ to help them become stronger in their relationship with Christ and be bolder about their faith. This meme is something I remind myself regularly. I'm not a very popular person because I find very little about this world that I want to be involved with. I may be too heavenly minded as my mom warned me to be cautious of. I do not believe I am holy nor righteous, I just have a very deep love for our savior Jesus Christ and long to serve Him as well as be with Him in person. I am so looking forward to His return!

Today I want to encourage you to take time to dwell and consider just how much God loves you. How does it make you feel to know the creator of everything, loves you personally! He knows you better than anyone and yet He still loves you. He sent his son to die for you. Not only did Jesus' die for us but he suffered great torture before His death and he didn't have to. He chose to because he loves you that much! I personally do not feel I can do enough for Him because of that and the truth is, He doesn't want us to earn His love. He just wants us to love and obey Him. I have found more freedom in loving and striving to obey Jesus than I have had without out. I was so chained to this world and its ways and dark thoughts that literally paralyzed me at times but yet now, I am literally walking in the light of Jesus. You can to. If you find yourself struggling more than you feel you should be, take time alone with Jesus and be honest with Him about your feelings. He knows anyway but it will help you to hear yourself verbalize what you are dealing with. You can even be angry. Just don't sin by cursing or denouncing Him. He understands our anger and frustrations and wants to help us work through our emotions. Don't trust your feelings to judge how much God loves you. Trust your heart and the Holy Spirit that lives within you. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart to the love of God.

Remember too, as long as I'm living and walking this Earth, you are not alone in your walk of Faith. Jesus is by your side, but you have me as a sister in Christ that is standing firm and bold in her faith for Christ too. I might not be able to share Christ to non-believers, but I will defend my beliefs and Christ should that opportunity arise. I pray for the lost and believers regularly. I may not know you personally, but God does. I pray now that He let his love be felt in order to encourage you and keep you standing firm in your faith and relationship with Him. I have also been taught that those in heaven pray for us too. That encourages me to realize just how many people we have supporting us, loving us and praying for us constantly.

May God continue to bless you. Never, ever forget how much He loves you. When you think you can't face another day, concentrate on His love and even ask Him to allow you to feel His love. He will give you the strength and ability to face the day but only if you turn to Him and trust Him to do so.

See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1
