All of creation, was created by God not for us but for his glory. To show how wonderful and magnificent He is. To point us towards God to honor and worship and him alone.
The atheist or Christian haters claim they have no beliefs when, they are worshiping themselves. They are their own god. Their belief and their religion are in themselves.
Christians believe in the one true living God which is not us or any creation. We must maintain our focus on why we were created.
We must strive to not replace Jesus with ourselves, our own desires or preferences. To me, this includes taking the focus off any rewards God promises we will receive. If we focus too much on trying to earn ‘crowns’, then our focus is on the crowns and rewards from God rather than God himself. If there were no crowns given out in heaven, would you still serve God?
Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9-10)
