Today, I want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. One way to do this is to explore the world He created for us. If the weather is nice, take a walk or sit out in your yard and listen to the sounds of nature. If you don't have a yard, sit out on your balcony or open a window and listen to nature sounds that way. The fresh air will do you good too. If you don't mind the rain then don't let the rain stop you from walking or even dancing in the rain! There is beauty and relaxation through a storm if we let it shine through. As my husband recently commented to me "Sometimes focusing on Gods beautiful creations is the best thing to do".
We still have much to be joyous over. Christ is our peace. Christ is our joy. We are to maintain our joy in all circumstances and if you are finding that difficult, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you with His joy and peace.
I know many of us are being told to stay away from people but you don't need to surround yourself with people to experience God and His world. I see verses posted but within the posts are mentions of what is causing us to have to seclude from people. That to me is still focusing on something other than God. I am deliberately not mentioning what these posts are about as today, I am focusing on God and His love for me.
I will also suggest spending quiet time in prayer and studying God's Word (the Bible) as many of us have more time on our hands now than before. Take this extra time to grow your relationship with Christ.
God bless you and keep you safe during this season.
