Jehovah Moshiekh

One of my Pastors, Dan Carawan, is writing a series of books that takes us through the rapture, tribulation. millennial reign and the Great White Throne Judgement. While these are fiction books, they contain Biblical passages. I'm on the 3rd of 4th books which is during the millennial reign. I encourage you to read these books if you haven't already done so. I will provide the links at the end of this blog.

While reading this 3rd book, The Last Evangelist, my mind is starting to imagine what it will be like to live during the millennial reign. I believe God is using this for today's blog. Looking at the names of God for my next post to chrisitanfaithplace.com, it will be Jehovah Moshiekh. The Lord your Savior. The Bible verse used for this name is Isaiah 49:26 "I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh;they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the Lord (Jehovah), am your Savior (Moshiekh),your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

While I have read the Bible all the way through, I am just now starting to learn how to study the Bible. Initially this verse sounded a bit graphic and I honestly didn't know what it meant by eating their own flesh drinking blood. Using commentaries, I am learning this is not what the verse means. In fact, it's referring to the Antichrist reign which I find coincides with the books I am reading by my pastor.

This verse is talking about how people will destroy themselves and there will be a lot of bloodshed. The people will even enjoy or relish in the killing of others which is the meaning of the first part of this verse. Jesus will return to save the 'church' and destroy the Antichrist, thus saving the saints and Israel. This will show the world that Israel has a redeemer and will also magnify his own name .

Thinking about His power and how He will show the world just what He can do and who He is, there is no doubt He will save us now from whatever evil or tribulation we are going through. He is our savior in all things. As I have been told, all means 'ALL'. It's not God that fails us, but us that fail Him by not trusting and believing, that not only can He save us, He WILL save us.
