Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

I’m posting this a day early and I expect in the next few days, there’ll be a lot of posts about resolutions and what we want to accomplish in the New Year. My suggestion to everyone is to be sure to include Jesus Christ in whatever plans you have for the new year. I am not a ‘date setter’ and I'm not saying He is returning in 2020. Each day brings us closer to when Christ will come for His children. Therefore, I encourage you to make sure to include Jesus in all that you do and share Him with as many people as you can now and in the new year.

Sometimes when a new year starts, it’s tempting to look over the past year or years. We all have good memories as well as regrets. Jesus teaches us to not dwell on our past mistakes or sins. (Isaiah 43:18) Instead, take them to Him and repent. He has promised to ‘cleanse us and make us new’. God is not only faithful to forgive when we repent but He also forgets that sin.

Let Jesus wash away the sins of the past and start a new year with Christ.

God bless you today and in the new year to come!

Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past (Isaiah 43:18)
